We would like to say well done to ALL members involved at TCT for going 366 days with out a loos of time accident. Ken said vouchers and t-shirts will be with employee's in due course.
RTG and Crane Regrade request :- We raised the question to Dave Wilson at today's Port Council. Both parties have agreed to meet up in September to get it resolved. Once the meeting has been set in stone we will let you know. This maybe via Facebook or notices on the boards.

FERRY TERMINALACCIDENT :- On Friday June 22nd and incident took place which resulted in crew member of the Bore Song being trapped. We would like to take this chance to wish him a successful recovery.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of how much a dangerous place it is we ALL work in. So where ever you work be safe and look out for one another...! Safety is NO accident. Update:- The crew member involved in the incident, has now returned home to Finland where he is recovering from his injury's. a panel of enquiry took place and the HSE where involved. We are thank full to say, no PD employee's where found to be in breach of any safety codes or training. NEWS UPDATE:- At today's Port Council, management confirmed that P&O are looking at bringing another sailing back to the Ro Ro terminal. Once we have more information we will release this to the workforce.
